 Paint/decorate

We had work completed  Painting/decorating of the kitchen/diner and the stairs. This is the second time we have used Tony and Lisa. We were on holiday for a week and booked Tony so the work would be completed while we were away. We have complete trust in leaving our key and house in tony's hands. We came back yesterday and we were delighted with the results, I had one wall wallpapered and it is beautiful, and the rest of the walls were painted. Tony had a lot of repair work to do as i  had had water damage on the walls and ceiling. He completed it all and a superb job done. I would highly recommend this gentleman for work to decorate your home. I certainly will be using him again.

This is just to thank you for the excellent work you did in repainting our extension. It was a real pleasure to deal with you as your response to the initial enquiry was exemplary and the quote was carried out equally efficiently. The date and time estimated were carried out to the letter, arriving to start at 8am on the 22nd May exactly as promised. They worked tirelessly and cheerfully all week in some unusually hot weather leaving the area tidy and neat at the end of every day.

The cost was very competitive and the advice, professionalism and expertise has been much appreciated. We hope to have further internal work carried out later in the year so will be contacting you again.

Tony has just completed a sizeable painting project at our house in Lechlade. The painting works comprised of two bedrooms, two large sitting rooms, dining room, a large hall, stairs and landing. He and his wife Lisa work to a very high standard and this shows in the quality of their work through to completion. In addition to being professional and efficient this team is helpful, personable and finish a job cleanly, on time and at reasonable cost.

Painting and decorating throughout the interior of the property

I thought that now the painting of our house is complete. We should write to you to thank you for the professional manner in which the work was carried out by yourselves and your team. It is always a concern when you entrust your home to people that are unknown to you, however, we need not have worried as it quickly became aware that the quality of work, together with the care and consideration shown to us both was truly excellent. As you know our house is not run of the mill and the job was a complete painting throughout and the exterior. We had other quotes and you were not the cheapest, however neither was the quality of your work!! It is very comforting to know we made the right decision, once again many thanks.

Painting three rooms

We needed three rooms painted and were keen to get them done in a hurry so that we could rent out our house quickly. Tony and Lisa managed to fit us into their very busy schedule the very next day and it was done in under two days. They did a first rate job, quickly and with no mess, to a very high standard. They are friendly but professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will certainly be using them again in the future.

Anthony & colleagues have just finished painting the exterior of our house and we are thoroughly delighted with the end result. Not only is the finish of a very high quality, but their method of work has been exemplary. They were extremely tidy and even went to great lengths to protect any of the plants growing around the house, knowing how keen gardener's we were! Furthermore, our toddler was often around and they were very kind to him, and took great care to keep things out of his reach! During the work, we were asked if we would like some additional small jobs done that would add to the finish, and were pleased to see that those extra bits were priced very reasonably. We hope to have some interior work done next year and will definitely be asking for Tony’s help!

I am so pleased i went to A Martin Painters for our recent interior painting/decorating project. I have used A Martin painters and decorators twice in the past for interior painting/decorating and they did an excellent professional job. So as my exterior window, sills and surrounds at the rear of my house were a bit worse for wear i thought i would use these painters again to bring them up to standard. I contacted A Martin painters and decorators to paint the exterior of my house and to repair surface cracks and damage to the underlying render. From the first minute Tony came to quote for the work I felt i was in safe and professional hands. Painting / decorating

Tony has returned to our house for the 4th time to paint and decorate our baby's nursery. As always, we are so delighted with the results. Review of A Martin Painters and Decorators

Just a quick note to provide feedback to you and your future customers following the work that was completed on my property. Tony was asked to paint the external areas of my 4 bedroom property, including the garage. This included clearing the overgrown ivy that had somewhat sealed itself to a wall, repainting of doors (the Oxford Blue looks great), the filling in of a number of holes that were caused by my poor DIY skills and a fresh coat of paint to all walls. The place looks new, clean and very sharp and all completed on time and within budget. Thank you for being so reliable and professional and I hope I can count on you in the future for more decorative work on the inside.

From the very first conversation with Lisa at A Martin Painters and Decorators, we had a good feeling about our decision to ring them for a quote; this feeling was justified and we can honestly say that it lasted right through until they had finished our work.
We wanted both our son's bedroom and our landing and stairs completely redecorating and Tony turned up at the agreed time to give us a quote and on arrival he was friendly, professional and instantly likeable. His quote was emailed through to us the same night, which we had no qualms about accepting, so we agreed a date and time there and then. We certainly didn’t feel the need to seek quotes from elsewhere.
Tony and Lisa were exceptionally punctual on the day of the works and in no time at all, they had covered everywhere in protective dust sheets and were busy filling and preparing the walls and woodwork. They worked hard throughout their time in our home and made sure to tidy up after themselves before they left each day.
Three days later now and with the work finished, it feels like we have just had some friends over to do the painting and decorating for us, they are a lovely couple and my wife and I couldn’t have felt more at ease in their company. More importantly, though we have to say that we are really impressed by their professionalism and the standard of the works they have completed for us.
We couldn't let them leave us without asking them for quotes to complete the rest of the house (both inside and out), these were put together and emailed through to us the same day and needless to say we’ll be accepting all of them. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and are looking forward to seeing them both again soon.

We employed A Martin Painters and Decorators to decorate our whole house and from the day Tony came to quote for the job until the day he and Lisa left, they were both exceptionally friendly, tidy and professional. Their work was to a very high standard, and they were a pleasure to have in our home ( important as the job was extensive and took a few weeks).

A Martin Painters and Decorators decorated our landing stairs and hall. Their standard of workmanship was excellent. They took great care with the preparation, which inspired confidence and resulted in a very high standard of finish. They also took great care to protect our floors & carpets and on completion of the decoration, they cleaned, washed and used their own vacuum cleaner to leave things pristine. We were looking to have the outside of our house and window frames decorated as we recently moved in and it looked like it had been neglected for a while.... It included stripping back old paint, touching up damp areas, stripping back and repairing the wooden frames, and then re-painting. We obtained a few quotes and although A.Martin Painters was not the cheapest quote (he was the middle of 3) he seemed like the most professional in terms of what he said he would do to our property to bring it back to life and he was very easy to get along with. I also found that his wife was extremely friendly every time that I spoke to her on the phone and via email, they were a pleasure to speak to.
We are really pleased that we went with Tony, his advice throughout the process was invaluable, his attention to detail was excellent and the finished result is amazing, it's like a different house! We have also had a lot of people say how nice the house looks as well.
You can without doubt see the difference in getting a true professional in to do this work when comparing it to work that we have tried to do ourselves. We have recently asked Tony to do our stairwell and the end result of this is again outstanding.

I have just had the external render on my 5-bedroom Bungalow painted by A Martin Painters & Decorators. The finish is pebble-dash and is very difficult to paint and one side of the house was difficult to access for ladders. The work was begun midday Wednesday and completed by Saturday, in spite of interruptions due to rain. The finish to the walls was excellent, but what really impressed me was the care taken to protect my driveway and pathways, also the clear- up afterwards i.e. cleaning paint spots off the glass, etc.
